MACAU TRIP [Senado Square & Ruins of St. Paul's]

I went to Macau and Hong Kong, August-September last year (2013). I really enjoyed staying in Macau. We went to different places and casinos. I must say that Macau at night is shining and glimmering! Lights all over the place and people are really enjoying the view.

For now, I'll blog about our Senado Square - The Ruins of St. Paul's trip.

Senado Square, Macau

There are shops in Senado square. You can buy different stuff and remembrance from the place like shirts, mugs, plates, etc. There are also food stalls. I bought a "dried meat" that can be seen along the way (It was all over the place! You can't miss to buy one. Hehe. It actually tastes good!) Senado Square is just so near when you go visit The Ruins of St. Pauls.

Santa Casa De Misericordia

You can pass this building on your way to Ruins of St. Pauls.

The Ruins of St. Pauls

The picture above is the entrance. After you entered the main entrance, you will have to walk for 3-5mins to reach the area where information about the ruins is displayed. Inside, there are remnants of the building before it was destroyed by the fire in 1835. There were also bones, paintings and even rocks!

So here are the pictures of The ruins of St. Paul's through the years :)

After strolling the Senado Square and The Ruins of St. Paul's, we decided to eat. We ate at a local restaurant near our hotel. And I ordered "peking duck" LOL. It's popular in China (so I gotta try one!) Along with it, I also ordered a native milk tea. :)

The taste of peking duck is weird for me since I prefer sweet & salty kind of flavor. Hehe. But over all, the food is great! ^^
