Love. (n) (verb)

There are a lot of people around the world. Almost all needs love. Some find it with their loved ones. Some with their family. Some with their pets. Some with their works. Others are still finding it, others are into the edge of it, others are still waiting for it, while others just don't care at all.

Love is a complicated word to be defined. It is something you can't just define. It's a feeling. A feeling that needs to be expressed. But for some, how do we express a love that was formed because of friendship? Are you willing to take the risk of your friendship or will you just stay there at that safe zone, at that friendzone?

I've been blogging a lot about love since I made this account. And as I read my past entries, I realized how I moved on. I was once been madly in love with someone. Madly in love that I cried all night after we broke up. That it took me almost three years to move on. It was, in all honesty, the most meaningful and longest (so far) relationship I had. It wasn't just another teen love story affair. For me, it was real love. Funny that I can blog about it feeling nothing now unlike before, I used to cry.

I loved this person so real that I learnt to value him more than myself (which is WRONG). He was my everything back then. He loved me too but cliche as this may seem, love was just not enough for us. We broke up. I dont know when, what, why or why. I just knew that we aren't together anymore. That's the worst kind of break up (I think).

I was hurt because after that feeling of break up, he had another girl. Was I that easy to be replaced? Was our relationship that easy to forget? Am I not worth it anymore? I kept on asking myself that question. Repeating inside my head that makes me cry all over again. I used to love him but learned to hate him and now I learned to forgive him. Great to my part, forgiving isn't hard as long as you've learned to realize things :)

Now, I realized that to love someone means trusting them, understanding them, giving them time for their selves, caring for them and knowing what are the right words to say and when is the right time to say it. Loving someone is NOT giving your all but sharing it. ALWAYS ALWAYS leave something for yourself.

And just a piece of wisdom, "You can never truly love someone until you learn to love your self." :) Have a nice day!

Happy Skin: Eye Love View

I am not really an expert when it comes to cosmetics since I'm not really fond of applying one. But as I went to college, I learned to apply just the basic ones in order to enhance my appearance. I only apply eyebrow, BB Powder and a lip tint whenever I go to school or stroll somewhere. In this post, I'm gonna share what I've been using for my eyebrows.

As a beginner or someone who is not particular in using such stuff, I would recommend to use this Happy skin's Eye Love View Pencil & Marker Eyebrow Duo. The eyebrow pencil is retractable type, meaning you don't have to sharpen it and it is capable of being drawn back.

About this product ...

This is how it looks like when the caps are removed :)

I use a brown shade since my hair color is dark brown.

The product is easy to use. The pencil and marker is easy to handle for a beginner and the color also fits my hair color (you should choose an eyebrow that would complement with your hair color so it won't look awkard!)

I bought mine in Manila (Dashing Diva store outlet) and costs 799PhP or about $18 only.

BENEFITS OF THIS PRODUCT:
  • Made with Argan oil that keeps your brow strands nourished
  • Has Vitamin E
  • Retractable - easy to use
  • Looks natural when used
  • Water resistant

Hong Kong: My First MTR Experience

Since we stayed at The Regal HongKong Hotel (Causeway Bay), the nearest MTR station would be the Causeway Bay. HAHA.

We're not yet familiar to the place so we had to look at first the MTR Map.

So I purchased an Adult Single Journey Ticket. (Forgot the name of the place where we're going though)

So you have to swipe the ticket before you enter the area where you can ride the train.

Inside the MTR :)

We went to a shopping area. Here are some of the pictures I got.

HONG KONG [Hotel Review]

So we decided to go to Hong Kong while having a vacation in Macau since it would only take a 30-minute to one hour turbo jet ride.

I didn't get a chance to take a photo while taking off the jet because I was carrying my luggage! Hehe. So while waiting for my Aunt who went to the rest room, I took some photos inside.

We stayed at The Regal HongKong Hotel (Causeway Bay) through out our stay in Hong Kong. They have nice staff and the accommodation is good! The hotel is just awesome and clean!

That's me beside the window. HAHAHA

View outside our hotel room. There's a McDonald's fast food chain near the hotel :)

The hotel service is fine and the design and architecture of the hotel is 5/5! I like the fact that there are so many mirrors inside our room and the material used was mostly wood. It has a large flat screen TV, bath tub, shower (has heater), extra towels. I like the bathroom because you can chose to have an instrumental music while taking a bath! Hehe :)

MACAU TRIP [Senado Square & Ruins of St. Paul's]

I went to Macau and Hong Kong, August-September last year (2013). I really enjoyed staying in Macau. We went to different places and casinos. I must say that Macau at night is shining and glimmering! Lights all over the place and people are really enjoying the view.

For now, I'll blog about our Senado Square - The Ruins of St. Paul's trip.

Senado Square, Macau

There are shops in Senado square. You can buy different stuff and remembrance from the place like shirts, mugs, plates, etc. There are also food stalls. I bought a "dried meat" that can be seen along the way (It was all over the place! You can't miss to buy one. Hehe. It actually tastes good!) Senado Square is just so near when you go visit The Ruins of St. Pauls.

Santa Casa De Misericordia

You can pass this building on your way to Ruins of St. Pauls.

The Ruins of St. Pauls

The picture above is the entrance. After you entered the main entrance, you will have to walk for 3-5mins to reach the area where information about the ruins is displayed. Inside, there are remnants of the building before it was destroyed by the fire in 1835. There were also bones, paintings and even rocks!

So here are the pictures of The ruins of St. Paul's through the years :)

After strolling the Senado Square and The Ruins of St. Paul's, we decided to eat. We ate at a local restaurant near our hotel. And I ordered "peking duck" LOL. It's popular in China (so I gotta try one!) Along with it, I also ordered a native milk tea. :)

The taste of peking duck is weird for me since I prefer sweet & salty kind of flavor. Hehe. But over all, the food is great! ^^

PIP [Post Internship Post]

After 1120 hours of duty, my internship has finally come to an end. Thank You, Lord! thank You for guiding and for giving me strength through out my internship period.

Internship was what we, the medtech students are looking for. Where in we can apply what we were taught in school. I learned a lot of things that made me love my chosen career even more.

We spent almost 6 months in two different medical institutions and there, we learned what we're gonna do in the future. Internship was not just all about doing the stuff which medtechs usually do. Once a week, we're required to go back to school to have our weekly comprehensive review in preparation for our comprehensive exam. Yes, we have this comprehensive exam which will determine whether we'll graduate or not.

We felt the pressure weeks before our comprehensive exam because our time's just so limited. Limited because we still have duty, days before our exam. But thank God, I was able to pass it :) [thank You, Lord!]

Next stop is graduation (April 13, 2014)

This may sound so cliche but, THANK YOU LORD FOR ALL THE BLESSINGS!
